Back by popular demand Paula Jackman’s Jazz Masters Following a dazzling debut performance in 2024, clarinettist Paula Jackman returns with her Jazz Masters, Paula formed the band in 2022 and named as a tribute to her late husband, jazz banjoist, Brian Masters. Hugh Crozier, Paula’s husband, is one of Britain’s best exponents of Jelly Roll Morton’s style of piano playing. He was a member of Bill Brunskill’s jazz band and Bob Kerr’s Whoopee Band for many years amongst other revivalist bands.
The rest of the band consists of ‘Titch’ Walker trumpet), Dave Lalljee (trombone), ‘Lord’ Marc Easener (sousaphone) and our old friend Baby Jools (drums)
