New kids on the block!
It is with great pleasure we introduce a new, young band to the club. The Junkyard Cats Jazz Band are a group from the East Midlands of England, inspired by the vibrant sounds of New Orleans. Led by bandleader Tim Clamp and fronted by soulful vocalist Liz Barker, the band delivers lively, feel-good performances rooted in classic jazz tradition. Their rich sound is driven by a powerful four-piece horn section, the deep groove of the sousaphone, and a dynamic rhythm section, coming together to celebrate the spirit and joy of early jazz.
