Karl Hird channels Johnny Dodds, George Lewis and other NOLA giants, while no-one sounds more like Kid Ory or Jim Robinson than Mike Owen! Favourite drummer Nick Ward brings his Bourbon Street beat to the sound as mighty Jim Swinnerton slaps that bass with gusto! Leading the festivities is long-time favourite Jeff Barnhart, channelling the great NOLA pianists from Jelly Roll to Alton Purnell, Knocky Parker to Sweet Emma, all the while trying NOT to sound like her on his vocals!
