We look forward to welcoming one of our regular bands sporting a wealth of talent hand-picked from the British Jazz Scene. Trombonist, vocalist, raconteur and more recently trumpeter Kevin Grenfell has appeared at the club on several previous occasions with Matt Palmer’s All Stars, Hot Banana, Slide by Slide, The Jazzaholics and The Paul Harrison Band.
The Jazz Giants features Kevin with a regular rhythm section plus various front-line guests and are now regarded as one of the leading forces on British Jazz club and festival circuit.
This NRC presentation will feature clarinettist and saxophonist Jeremy Huggett. Jeremy will be familiar with NRC audiences as leader of popular band the Dart Valley Stompers. This promises to be a very entertaining evening with some great jazz and humour.
