For our Christmas party, we look forward to welcoming one of our regular bands sporting a wealth of talent hand-picked from the British Jazz Scene. Trombonist, trumpeter, vocalist, raconteur Kevin Grenfell has appeared at the club on several previous occasions with Matt Palmer’s All Stars, Hot Banana, Slide by Slide, The Jazzaholics and The Paul Harrison Band. The Jazz Giants are now regarded as one of the leading forces on British Jazz club and festival circuit.
Due to the sad and untimely death of clarinettist and saxophonist Jeremy Huggett the reeds chair will be taken by Matt Palmer. This promises to be a very entertaining evening with some great jazz and seasonal humour.
